The paper presents an informational system (based on databases) for environmental risk assessment from iron & steel industry. The databases realized (for emissions, imissions, technological wastes, waste waters, hazardous compounds and accidents) are new at the national level. These were transferred to, and used by the Environmental Protection Department of the SC ISPAT SIDEX SA Galati.

A theoretical approach of the heat transport in nanofluid using the scale relativity is elaborated. In such context, one shows that the nP/L interface self-structurates as a non-linear Toda vortex lattice and one specifies some of its properties (intrinsic anisotropy and the phononic spectrum components). In our opinion, the heat transfer in nanofluid is given by means of the “thermal anyons”.

Ana-Luciana Rus: Mechanism of superplastic deformation and phenomenological relations micrograin superplasticty

Over the last two decades, much attention

has been devoted to examining and attempting to explain the physical mechanisms which occur during superplastic deformation. A detailed understanding of these mechanisms is a prerequisite for extension of research in the superplasticity phenomenon either to new advanced materials or to new testing conditions, which are more favorable for the successful utilization of superplasticity in industrial forming operations. The paper reviews briefly the mechanism of superplastic deformation and the phenomenological relatios micrograin superplasticity.

Concurrent Engineering is a systematic approach to the integrated, concurrent design of products and their related processes, including manufacturing and support. It is known  as simultaneous engineering, concurrent design, integrated development of products, team design, total engineering leading to reduce the time-to-market.

The aim of this paper its o present some aspects regarding the design for quality, especially the method of Genichi Taguchi .
